For several years we have been organising youth exchanges under the “Youth”, “Youth in Action” or “Erasmus Plus” programme. Our programmes are primarily aimed at integrating young people from different European countries. So far we have hosted young people from Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Poland.
Our activities are aimed at promoting active citizenship, developing a sense of solidarity and tolerance, as well as deepening mutual understanding between young people from different countries.
In 2011, we hosted the projects “Volunteering EURO 2012” and “We have a lot in common – culture, sport”. During the workshop, in addition to the previously mentioned values, young people learned about the activities during the preparation of EURO 2012, so that they could actively participate in activities during the championship. Among other things, young people were able to become familiar with safety rules or learn first aid, a skill that is essential for volunteers at mass events. We have also established cooperation with the National Cultural Centre. Together with this institution we have managed to implement several projects within the framework of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.
